When should we be hereing microsoft makeing a statement about the price and release date of the xbox 360 any time soon? also what is the microsoft homepage for the xbox 360 to check updates of release date & priceing of the system and accessories price?

my bet is the american conference in september. perfect time to do it. all the publicity and to announce at $299, jaws will drop.

on a sidenote, did you notice how the japanese gamers rated the 360 conference better than the sony one? this train is just starting to pick up steam.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, say that again smerf01? Better yet, link it! If that is true, $ony should start to be concerned if the Japanese are more impressed with M$ than with the home grown unit.

They were talking about the conferences between the two companies,not the consoles,there is a difference.Doesn't mean that the Japanese won't buy the PS3 just because they didn't like the conference.

that's a no-duh. but that's not what i'm saying. look, i'm not saying that all of a sudden all of the sony fanboys in japan are now going to go get an xbox360, i'm just saying that it's impressive that an xbox conference was more impressive to japanese gamers than a sony one.

that's all i'm saying. i know the facts. i already know it's going to be hard, and if you watched my posts, you'd know that i wouldn't make such a blatently stupid remark as saying that out of nowhere the 360 just changed the opinions of an entire country of gamers.

November 4th was never official, and neither is the $299 mark. Say it until you're blue in the face zCraven15, it will not make a difference until something official is announced. Then you can jump on your bandwagon about "I was right!" Until then, it is only speculation.

And Gee, they should retake that poll now that the conferences have passed. I bet the 2% has risen.
