Default Is there a way to downsize a GIF file?

Hey does anybody of a program to downsize a GIF file for an avatar? I have IrfanView but I can only seem to downscale a JPG image.

I use either Photoshop or Uleads PhotoImpact.

yep photoshop. when you save it will ask you for quality. just pick a lower quailty like i think the default is maxium at least on mine. try to choose medium or high
