Market Place Points? XBOX Live

So far Loving my 360...but I want to DL some stuff from the Market Place and I do not want to have to go to the store to purchase a Points Card. Is there a way to go to Micro$oft XBOX.com and purchase points logged in under your Gamer Tag and have them be in your Live account, readily accessable?

I GOT SOME GOOD NEWS MY FRIEND! you can purchase the points right off your 360! just go to the xbox360 blade go to, uuuh i think market place and buyem. if its not there its somewere in the 360 POSITIVE

I will give it a go! Just wish I could order from the Convience of my PC! and have the relationship between the GamerCard work! (Maybe in the future.)

You can also buy them at stores, for 1600 points for 20 dollars. Well but its better to win them.

Where in the HECK do you buy them at from XBOX live?

Since they make money from it - you would think they would slap it right in your face and not burry it!

Go to an arcade game you want to buy or what ever. click on the game and it will tell you don't have enough points...it will direct you so you can use your credit card

well a couple of demos look nice and some themes r free but even the ones to buy with points look nice and cheap

At least according to MS and IGN it isn't.

"Microsoft Points are a totally different entity, since you in no way earn them through playing games. Instead, you need to purchase Microsoft Points to buy extra content, demos, themes, and Xbox Live Arcade games on the Xbox 360 Marketplace. As of right now, your gamer score and Microsoft Points are totally separate. However, wouldn't it be cool if your gamer score were able to give you more than bragging rights? not true, but that would be sweet. you should get like 50 free marketplace points for every 1000 gamerscore points or something along those lines.
