GAMESTOP: What is going on

Ok I had it with Gamestop almost every day I call them and they still say the microsoft has not told us when we will get the second shipment.
Does Anyone one else have the same problem as me.

Yeah - the story you get also seems to depend on the location you call.

The latest blurg I got from a GS manager is that gamestop is currently stock piling their weekly shippemts from MS in order to meet the current preorder demand. The plan is to try to address fill most of the preorders that have been outstanding - especially for people who preordered in July, August, etc...

Gamestop asked me to stop calling, so I do not know when to expect anything. And I pre-ordered in July.

Anyway, there are other things to do besides getting agitated over a gaming console. From what I hear, you are not missing out on too much at this point. Plus, it's Christmas, try not to focus on yourself so much.

Its not that bad but I live in such a small town and there are electronics stores for about 45 miles. So Yea i Have it bad.

I live in one of the most rapidly growing towns in the US... They barely stocked any of the stores around me, so a lot of people are unhappy.

The really sad part is, we probably know more about the current 360 situation than most of the people who work at gamimg stores.

I called GameStop about a week ago and they told me they should recieve there 2nd shipment on Dec. 13th. This of coarse is in the Dallas, Texas area so hope this is good new to some of you.

Well i reserved my copy of the xbox 360 and they told me that i was #33 and i had to wait before christmas before i got mine or until januray

i just called gamestop and asked them if they had gotten any and he said no and that they may not have any til february...

...but then i told him i had a pre-order and corrected himself and said they should be getting some in by the end of next week

Alright, I stopped in my local Gamestop today because I was taking back SH2 since I beat it on Hard mode and didn't feel like playing through it again. I asked them about when they were going to get their 360s in and they said sometime this week. Not sure if they were just saying that so I would leave them alone or what...
