Don't worry about it. It doesn't mean your 360 is going to junk, it's just the game. Clean your disc and clear your cache.

Yeah, 2 or 3 other games will clear it. It happend to me as well because my system was getting to hot. Its a high demand game. Make sure your systems in a good spot where it gets lots of air. I also turned my from the laying down position to upright and I haven't had that problem since.

Default dont worry. me too.

Ive had the exact same problem. it was near the beginning of the game, on the way to the first gate. my game used to always freeze just before getting there, or when i got there (at least 5 times!). I got so discouraged that i only now started playing again (almost 2 mnths later), and, lo and behold, no more freezing! not sure why it did, but it stopped.

sorry for double posting, but I know the answer to this. I have a copy of the british magazine 360 vision, and it has an article on oblivion, and clearing the cache (weird huh?) It states to hold down the A button while the Bethesda logo appears on the screen. Ive tried it, and had no problems since. (maybe thats why my game doesnt freeze)

Got to love the intercooler to, lol. Since that nice $20 addition, I haven't had a single Oblivion freeze or studder problem.

I was going to buy one of those myself but someone told me its noisy as hell and the 360 is loud enough on its own.

a intercooler is made up of three mini cp fans that draw the air in the xbox case out its actually quieter then a computer case.
On another note was just wondering if anyone has tried out the 360 Fan Stand how well does it work at push cool air into the system its either that or im gonna ripe it apart and put my old cp liquid cooling system in to it..

I actually have the Nyko intercooler and its not loud. You have to have some sensitive ass ears or something if its noise as hell to you. As for the fanstand, I heard it sucks. If your gonna go intercooler, go Nyko.

I happen to have the fan stand. I think it's bad because it circulates air instead of pulling just the hot air out. It makes the room really warm after a couple hours. The intercooler is better mostly because unless you WANT to stand your X360, the fan stand is not for you. The intercooler can be laid down with the 360. I heard that some company is making a liquid cooling case or some kind of fan that pushes cold-air into the 360... I think the air-conditioning one will be better... I mean, if the case cracks, the water or chemical will... you know--- spill out

to clear the cache all u have to do is put the disc in and for the whole time the game loads, you hold the "A" button right up until the menu shows up, and it works. No need the stay off of oblivion. there is no time for that! lol
Its so good
Hope this helps.
