xbox live help

i am new to live so can someone please answer some some questions for me. how do you download patches or new updates for the 360? also i love playing cod2 online, but i cant seem to get anyone to add me to a friends list. my game tag is mndfrk if anyone wants play cod2 or any other game online. would just be nice to actually talk to someone you know.

u usally need to a make friends with people to have them send u a friend request, or be kinda good, or better then them at the game. Maybe then, u will make some friends.

it should automaticly download updates

can u choose if it auto updates manually or not???

put in a online enabled game. before the game even loads to the menu it should say an update is required to play this game would you like to update. then you dl the update. your xbox will automaticly restart itself and ur good

are you serious? I hate most of the friend requests i get. Almost every time i play COD i get a friend request but i only use mine for my real friends that have an xbox360.

I also keep getting friend requests also everytime I'm on CoD2, now I just don't bother. So I decline the requests.
