Default Confirmed! Dashboard Update, COD 2 Patch
After our exclusive article on the upcoming Xbox 360 Dashboard update, a lot of scepsis rose on the authenticity of the report. ard|OCP got formal confirmation from Microsoft yesterday though, and today posted an update stating the patch for the Dashboard will be out next Monday already, and the Call of Duty 2 patch is set for release the day after.

We received confirmation from Microsoft that the Xboxic information was indeed accurate and that an update was “imminent”. Unfortunately, that update was supposed to head to production today but a few minor issues pushed the target date back to Monday. There will also be a Call Of Duty 2 update hitting the following day, so next week should be a good one for Xbox 360 owners.

I wish we could get a list of everything that is being included in the update. But, good to hear about the CoD2 bit.

ah, the first update. all we need now is downloads for are current games like PDZ new maps and ect. Nice find Drangonuk.

On the teamxbox website it said that it was released today, but i can't find any info for that on my dashboard, maybe it is next monday or late tonight as was with the full auto demo.

to get the update you must put a online enabled game in such as call of duty. and a message will pop up saying that an update is required. hit yess download it and your xbox will restart itself

This sux, im going to be out of town for the next week and not be able to get on Live, guess I have to wait until next Monday to get it. Will someone post any noticeable differences the updates have made, if any? Especially for COD2.

Sunds like this is goin to be like the psp, every thime a hack for it comes out so does an update not lettin the hack work. they also come with stuf fpll want

yes but ms beat the hackers this time. they dont even have a hack or a mod out yet

i didnt really see any nocitable changes
did the patch come out for cod2 yet? or was it just the dashboard

this is whats up the update today. there will be more tomorrow including the cod2 fix
