Splinter Cell: Double Agent

Does anyone know what the release date is for this game? I was at Best Buy (working) and we have a preorder slip that says 03/21/06 but on the website it says 09/15/06?? Their website is never accurate, but I was just wondering. Thanks.

Also, I was trying to play Chaos Theory the other day on my 360 and it kept locking up.....anyone else have that problem?

it was initially the spring date, but its been rumored for several months now to be end of 2006.
BTW -- this bogus early release date thing is really starting to piss me off. With DOA4 I didn't mind, because a delay if 2-4 weeks does seem to honestly be a last minute delay to tweak the last few bugs out before release -- but a 6-9 month delay?!? Thats not a last minute fix -- thats building the damn thing. If your release date is that far off, you had to have been blatantly lying -- you didn't know the game was only 40% done!?! You thought the first 40% work would take a year but the other 60% would be done in 72 hrs?!? I didn't like hearing Gears of War was end of 2006, but I'd rather get that news then tell me its a launch title. I mean end of 2005. I mean 1st quarter 2006. I mean after E3 in May. I mean Summer release. I mean Augugst 1st. I mean Augugst 15th. I mean September. No, October. really!. Well, mabye November. We'll see.
Just be straight with the market!! It would certainly help me with budgeting if I knew when stuff was actually coming out more than a week before the release.

I had it on pc and it kept locking up, sadly i aint tried it on my 360, so i can't hlep you out there. I though the release date was 03/21/06, but i am not too sure.

They did that with chaos theory, on nov 04 but they push to march 05.
So, look on the bright side. They made 3 perfectly execute games and there going to make a 4th they may be the best.

lets hope not Splinter Cell and all the games after are some of the best games i have played IMO

Don't worry people. Ubisoft will not let us down. They have done great with the 1st 3 Splinter Cell games and SC

A will be the greatest cause of the power of the 360 hardware will let the Ubisoft developers do the amazing things.

I'm not worried about the quality of the game. Ubi has never given us a reason to doubt them. They need to worry about a more friendly online interface.

yea ubisoft usualy has no problems with graphics on a video game im sure they will make a great spcda
