March system update available

I'm not at home so I cant try out the update but can someone with the march system update notice any improvements in the system.

i dont think this one has anything of any importance for the average user in it. and for those of you who i kno are going to ask. YES YOUR XBOX WILL RESET ITSELF AFTER YOU DOWNLOAD THE UPDATE.

Edit: and if you are on live while the update is relesased it will kick you off xbox live and you will have to sign back in and download the update. It is mandatory

Matt has covered this on the front page and the update was basically to prepare the system for future updates.

Yeah guys it's not anything your going to notice. I just did the update a little while ago.

What do they mean an update to prepare the system for future updates. What like downloading critical updates in the background without us knowing.

Dont you worry that microsoft is releasing updates for no apparent reason. Like there is no current major hack threats. No apparent change to dashboard. Like why are they taunting us just give us atleast background dowloading for the time being. Dont act like sony and do something stupied like installing somekind of rootkit.

After reading up on another site I found out the 360 was unable to patch games. But the patch we received a week ago now makes it possible for games to be patched which is why so many games got updated this week.

yeah the whole update for future updates thing kinda left me wondering "alright what te hell does that mean?" all they had to say was that it was an update that enabled patches, would that have been so dificult?
