Posts: 6   |  Downloading Demos with Silver Account hey guys, im getting my xbox 360 tmrw (asia version ) and was wondering whether i could download game demos with the silver suscription? is it like free of charge? thx for helping out a newbie... |

Posts: 1,227  | Speaking of demos I had silver live then I got gold live and I dont see any premium content that I can access that silver ppl cant. The only difference I see is that I can play online. Maybe in the future the gold live ppl can download certain media that MS paid for that silver ppl cant. Oh and silver cant play on live everyweekend. There is a time maybe every few months a company such as verizon or pepsi will sponsor the event. But this is retricted to the company that is sponsoring it and what region they are sponsoring it.

Posts: 16   | most demos are single player only (PGR3), but others are multiplayer (The Outfit), and some are both (Quake 4). i dont see why everybody doesnt have gold though. i cant stress enough that the value what you get with the gold premium pack is a good bargain. by the time you add up the cost/value of all the included extras, it makes the Xbox Live subscription free. don't believe me? look it up and add up the prices. headset, billiards game, 200 ms points, $20US/$25CDN game rebate, 12 months gold... all for the price of a game. |
