HI, I WAS WONDERING IF IT REALLY MAKES A DIFFERENCE WHEN YOU PLAY ONLINE WHAT DSL SPEED YOU HAVE ?? BECAUSE i WANT TO UP GRADE FROM DIAL-UP TO DSL JUST SO I CAN PLAY ON XBOX-LIVE BUT BEFORE I UP GRADE I WANT TO KNOW IF I GET LETS SAY THE ATT DSL FOR 12.99 WILL IT WORK FIND WITH XBOX LIVE OR WILL IT MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE IF I GET COMCAST HIGH SPEED FOR 39.99 . PLEASE HELP!!! THANK YOU

It depends what you really want to do on live. If you just want to play lag-free games I would suggest anything over 2Mb/s download and 288kb/s upload. Now if you want to host games with many people in them (people run the game/match off of your connection putting quite a bit of strain on it) I would recommend getting something a bit more substantual.

But if its just to be able to play on live the cheaper option should suffice.

The DSL should get the job done.

Also, typing in all caps hurts the eyes.

Yes go with the DSL to save you some money I use DSL and have no problems, I use to have cable it was always going down but that was the company I got it froms fault. Plus DSL line your not sharing If alot of people in your negiborhood have cable the slower it gets. DSL that does not happen with it is constant and no one else sharing the line.

Cable is the only way to go in my opinion. It has to be like 4 kps or something like that to compare to cable.
