Posts: 9 | GRAW is Camper's paradise! The only way to survive this game is to hide, stay still, and take the idiot player who wants to run around off. It is so friggin hard to run, stop, and shoot its ridiculous. Also switching between grenades and gun is flippin' tedious! Why is it so hard to throw a grenade it takes 5 friggin seconds to throw one? WHY?!?!?!!!
The game looks amazing but Call of Duty 2, even with all the lag issues, is a faster smoother online gaming experience. |

Posts: 96 | ^^^I'm supposing we're talking real-life? Throwing one in real life is as easy as throwing a slightly heavier baseball and is only hindered by one's inability to complete simple movements: detach, pull and throw. I would say 2-3 seconds max (at least in my military experience). Deux does have a point when he says it takes too long.

Posts: 70 | I just think that since most guns in graw are so powerful, you have less chances of turning around and shooting. So basically it comes down to who sees who first, this obviously goes hand in hand with camping but on the other hand you can't camp one spot and have to keep moving from one to another since you can die just as quickly as getting a kill.... It's just more realistic and that's what all clancy games aim towards.

Posts: 96 | ^^^Just inquiring here, but doesn't the game show exactly where the camper picked you off from? Everytime I get into a good spot and kill someone about 20 seconds later they're right on top of me, blowing my brains out! I was playing the other night and I got popped by a sniper and the camera zoomed into his exact location. Anyone else seen this?

Posts: 141 | If grenades could be thrown quicker it would ruin gameplay. People would constantly run and throw. Just before they die they would throw a grenade. In short it would be like Halo 2. It is a game and it would unbalance gameplay to have mines or grenades exploding all the time. As the style of the game is more recon-and-shoot it would lessen the recon bit.
Every game should have it's own style. If it's not to your taste play one that is. But why do so many people want every game to play the same. |

Posts: 75 | I agree. I love GRAW on mulitplayer. It has a very good combination of action and power. I tend to play with my mates anyway, so snipers and campers get given a hard time.
Possibly on the XBox Live against people you dont know I could see that this could get annoying. |

Posts: 2,248 | I am having a blast online I been lucky did not come across to many campers as of yet. And I think it should take a bit to throw a grenades otherwise the game play would be unbalanced just like you have to switch on rifles to the gernade launcher in real life you have to load the breach of the grenade launcher to fire it you would not carry a live round in it.

Posts: 96 | ^^^Yeah we had quite a few cases of spawn killers last night. Luckily the host (HELLRAISER) was watching for them and booted them when he got the chance. As for the people that camp I've found that it is hard to sit and wait for a shot and not get picked off yourself. I used my marksman last night and was only sitting in a spot for about 10-20 seconds (unless I killed someone and then I moved immediately) and then moving on to the next spot. A lot of people are finding some good cover with a decent vantage point and using silenced weapons to pick people off. It apparently worked because for the most part no one else found them.

Posts: 378 | if you camp i feel sorry for you, because you dont have to stop to shoot you just have to be Quick and press LT your accuracy is so much better and the only thing that kills me is when people hide in the grass to there to afraid to leave there base or to actually play the game. And plus if your camping they just have to use the Drone (if on) And lob some nades and there done.

Posts: 96 | Is that the reason you feel sorry for campers? The reason people hide in the grass is to pick off people like you who like to run-n-gun and hope that you get the drop on some unsuspecting player first. It has nothing to do with that "they're afraid." But I can totally see where you are coming from and how your tactics are sooooo much better....I think I'll run mindlessly through the level, jumping into gunfights (using my LT mind you) and trying to become the next darwin award winner instead of providing cover-fire for my teammates and trying to survive the round by staying out of sight and killing my victims from a distance (phew...long sentence). I wonder if our enemies complain as much about Marine/Army snipers camping all day and killing their guys? Those bastards!
BTW, i'm just givin ya crap....no need to take me seriously Nice sig!

Posts: 378 | hell man i use cover, ill cover fire my team but i dont freaking stay in my spawn behind a wall waiting for someone who can play the freaking game to run around the corner i dont use a M60 and sit at the corner and wait for some "unsuspecting player" so i can blast him i gloat about how well i can prone around a cornet i snipe 2 and i can pick off people from long range you act like its really hard, thats not camping thats going out to the best vantage point to get other snipers or any fool who runs out in the open ground, camping is as i stated sitting behind a freaking wall with an Automatic Rifle and blasts anyone who turns a corner.
oh and mindlessly run n gun thats why i look at the map to see what my team mates see and go behind some dude sitting in a alley way, thats why im so good at this game i can go out of my spawn and get 10-20 kills in sharpshooter and only die say 5 times, or why i can take out the whole enemy team on LMS , so you can make the game miserable for the people your playing aganist by camping but i like to play a good game not some *** camper garbage

Posts: 96 | Seriously dude,.....no one ever reads these days, I said I was just giving you crap! Chill! I agree with you on the whole spawn camping and such but in the end if we're good players then it shouldn't matter. We had spawn campers last night, and if they didn't get booted for camping they usually we're swiss cheese before they even knew what hit them. There's a difference between being really *** and camping out the whole game; not killing anyone and wasting a slot that could have been played by someone who woulda used it. But at the same time, classes like marksmen are pretty much expected to camp (sit somewhere longer than needed) because of what their attributes are and weapons loadout. I don't get upset, I just get even.....and then some.
But like I said I agree with you on all your points.
