Default Number of Controllers???

Hi Guys, I just got my xbox360 last sunday. I would just like to ask how many controllers (wired & wireless) can you connect to the unit simultaneously. Can you connect 4 wireless + 3 wired controllers? Thanks!

Only 4 at once, I would get 2 wireless and 2 Wired. Infact that's what I have!

Thanks Guys! So im assuming that there is no other way to increase the number of controllers connected since there are only four lights alloted for the controllers, am i right? I hope they can come up with something to increase it, it'll be better to have at least 6 controllers connected.

6 controllers, on one screen, is ridiculous.

I'm sorry, but I've grown to despise split screen all together. Xbox live, or local LAN, are the only ways to go. Playing a game, with your own screen, and hearing only your own gun shells being fired is awesome.

I do, however, love the PS3's ability to support 7 controllers on 2 displays. This would be cool, just to have 2 players, with the same system, on 2 tv/monitors.

Also, I like the NDS in a similar aspect. With the two screens, and online play, you can watch what the other person is doing. This is actually an extremely neat feature.

I only have two wireless, and wouldn't want anymore. two player split screen drives me nuts, three player split makes me want to kill people, and 4 player split AAAAAARRRRGGGHHHH!

Thanks guys, I didn't actually realize that the screen would be split that way cause I just wanted to play multiplayer for NBA Live/2K6. But for 1st person shooter games, it will actually be stupid to split the screen into more than two parts. Oh well, I guess Xbox Live is the only way to go. More Power guys!!!

Why would you do that when games only support up to 4 people? Adding controllers is not going to change the software. Four controllers is the max one xbox360 was designed to handle.

I have tried the USB hub and yes it works for controllers and media devices like hard drives for streaming music. But it DOES NOT WORK when you plug in the wireless adapter, with external power or not, it doesnt like anything other then being plugged right into the systems USB port. Damn you M$ for only putting one USB port in the back, DAAAAAAAAAAAMN YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOU!

They should have had 3 usb at the back and 2 in the front. I assume ppl plug the wifi adapter in the back, so where do we plug the video camera or the hd-dvd add on
