Committed???

Anyone else have this "Committed" achievement in GRAW?? I was wondering if this can include co-op play or just kill count type games. Or just online in general. I don't want to get this achiev the wuss way, of just leaving the sys on and sit in a lobby...but Damn!!! 8 hrs!!

Oh well, have to find a time when the wife is gone, to just play.

make sure it's 8hrs straight of time the wife is away, like when she's at work or something (the wuss way i would think) is to create a game, and set time to unlimited (if there is one, longest i found was 60minutes) and then just turn it off, but i don't think it'll let you chill in a lobby for 8hrs. give it a shot, and let us know if it works.

lol 8 hours just for a cuple gmaer points...talk about waste of time plus i think you could just like set up a co-op mission ad put the time on 1 hour and let it go then every hour just restart it doing somethign elese in the mean time

I don't cheat to get my achievs, i like to actually get them. Then they feel like I actually "Achieved" something. And believe me... If it wasn't for the wife 1.0, the little bratz, and friends... 8 hours would be no problem. On my days off from work that is.

Dang!! I found one??? (Dolphins Fan). I didn't think there were many of us left after Marino retired. I really didn't like Culpepper, but we'll see i guess.

I dunno don't see Culpepper doing much. The only time he was able to really dominate was when he had Moss and Carter. You could see how once Carter retired the team started to go down hill and then last year without the always fun Moss the team really did not achieve anything on land and with the Dolphins old coach gearing the team towards the run for Ricky they sort of let their passing game slide. IMO it was not a good pick up. Not that it really matters the Steelers are going to win it again anyways.

So the post is on topic: I think it is just insane to sit there and play for 8 hours. Offline might be fun to get together with some friends where you can shoot the $hit and make a day of it but online truly would be insane. Good Luck.

Hey man, I got it. You do know that time in lobby doesn't count right? So it's gonna take a lot more time if you don't like play with some friends right away, instead of using the matchmaking.

Sorry for the deviation... just had to get my .02 in.

It'll likely take me forever to get that achievement. So far the longest I've logged on GRAW was about 4 hours, and that was a combination of MP & campaign modes.

That achievement is going to be hard to get, the closest Ive got was about 6 hours and I couldnt do it anymore. The amount of time it takes people to BS in the lobby before and after matches it would take about 10- 11 hours to get it.

Edit- I forgot to mention PACKERS RULE!!! LOL

I know what you mean... I just tried this one the other day. It WILL take forever at that rate. There is a cheap B.S. way of getting it that i know of...but like i have said before achievements give me a sence of actually acompleshing something, so i'm gonna try to get it the legit way.
