Microsoft already loses money selling the 360 at the price it is and theres no need to drop the price if the demand is still as high as it is...

I see what you're saying, but that isn't completely true. Every company loses money on the console early on and make it up with accesories and games. So it wouldn't necessarily hurt MS that much. Remember, the 360 has the highest atatch rate of games and accesories of any console, so they could be easily making up that money. We'll see, their financial report is in May I believe.
But I can defenately see what you are saying-the 360 is still selling at $400. Why lower the price if you can still move units at a higher price? I think MS will wait until Sony and Nintendo's price points are revealed. If Sony launches around 400-450, I could see a $50 price drop on each. Then the core could compete with the revo and the 360 would beat the ps3's price by 75-100 bucks.
I really think it depends on what Sony does though.
