Posts: 1 | Hopefully by now the question has been answered fully. But, for those of you who are skeptical about whether or not you can level up beyond the magical 50, you should definitely believe the guy who said his character is level 54.
My character is currently at level 53 and as a result has a health total of 684 without enchantments. His health doesn't really matter since his combined chameleon-enchanted items total over 100, making him an invisible stealing/killing machine. In addition, the average of my enchantment-enhanced major skills is way over 100. Of course, at this point it isn't a challenge to play the game, so I haven't touched it for a while.
In any case, I waited until I had maxed-out all my major skills, which can be tortuous depending on which major skills you chose at the beginning of the game. (If I had my druthers, I would avoid doing acrobatics again even though jumping can help you find shortcuts out of dungeons.) As others have mentioned, this did not result in a level 50 character, but slightly less. Then I went to jail a few times to artificially lower some of my major skills, thus allowing me to build them back up again. This resulted in another level up. I suppose if you were bored enough you could do this many times.
Finally, I recommend going to the Hermaeus Mora Shrine for a few more quick level ups. |
