yeah MS want to steal some PS3 launch sales by releasing one of the biggest selling games this generation at the same time. Quite an impressive marketing move to be honest. Can you imagine what it would do to console sales if not only they release Halo 3 the same time as the PS3, but also announced an Xbox 360 console price drop at the same time

Because a price drop at that time would mean a lot of people would be willing to buy the console, just for Halo 3. Gaaawd think how busy EB games is gonna be that day when both Halo 3 and the PS3 come out!

it took me a month to beat halo 2 on legendary. But on normal about a day and a half.

No time at all. I just didnt play it, I find Multiplayer much more fun than Single Player.

I've seen that cover art before somewhere and I'm pretty sure it was confirmed fake...

Just look at the "Halo 3" text... its one of the worst photoshop jobs I've seen.

secondly, I have a feeling that halo 3 won't just be branded with the name Halo 3. Like the same concept with Halo : Combat Evovled...

I could (and probably will) be wrong.

Halo 3 will be great and all. But think of the first halo game when it first came out at the beginning of the consul’s life span, we all thought that was the best graphics in the world at the time. Then came Halo 2, and the graphical improvements were breathtaking, and know I can’t stand halo 1.

That’s what halo 3 is going to be like at the time the graphics will blow our minds. And then 3 years later, after the last halo, some other games will take the spot, maybe not in game play, but in graphics.

That’s how the game industry evolves. When the consuls first com out, the developers are learning how to push it to its full potential. And in the end of its live span, may even past its expected limits.

U saw what happened with halo 1, and that what’s going too happened with halo 2 and 3.

I don't see why any of those couldn't be a possibility, so at least some of it will be true. They should release something on the game at least...

Like all of u, I’m hoping it’s all true.
The one thing I’m worried about is the amount of players per map. On 16, there’s always lag. I don’t won’t to think how 50 players is going be like…..yeah I just did

But really, I think they probably have everything covered.

u know the xbox 360's capitablitys and how it will have xbox 360 gold. the lag shouldent be as bad 4 the new systoms. but i know im buying xbox 360 for halo3.
