Xbox 360 Live

Ok well im looking into buying a Xbox 360 this weekend. From what i can see it is worth it with or without HDTV. My main issue is, if i buy a Premium Xbox 360, what would i need to get that sucker online? Do you need a Hard-drive? Do you need a memory Card? Any info will be helpful thanks!

You need a harddrive or memory card. Since you are getting a premium a harddrive is included. So pretty much the ONLY thing you need is an internet connection like Cable or DSL. The premium even comes with a ethernet cable so your good to go out of the box. You get 1 month free xbox live gold. There are like atleast 30 demos on the marketplace and some have online play. So your good for a couple months without actually buying a game if you know what I mean. I didn't have a xbox 360 game for like the first 3 months for some odd reason. I had all the accessories but no games, the thing was I didn't really notice it since I was busy downloading demos and arcade games.

Is it the same with the Core? and what would i need if i were to get a Core system. I have good internet service (DSL i do believe) and already have a ethernet cord/router. Is ghost recon a good game to start with? By the way, im big about online play only. So as long as i can get online and play with actual people i will be fine.

go for the preimium. Its not worth it to get the core. I at first got a core, and I sold it as soon as i found the preimium.

If you buy the core then you need a memory card which is about $50 so the actual cost of the core would be $350 and the premium is $400. The harddrive in the premium allows you to do alot of things like download demos, trailers, extra content for games that won't fit on a memory card like the extra GRAW content that is like 750MB. The premium also comes with a headset so you can chat away on xbox live, it also comes with HD cables so if you decide to get a HDTV in the future then your set.

I recommend you first get the xbox 360 download the 2 GRAW demos and give it a try. If you like it pick it up. GRAW is a great game but it's not for everyone. I like GRAW but some people don't like the seriousness of that game, like 3 shots and your dead. Basically who ever sees you first is the winner, GRAW is about tactics and cooperating your your teams mates over live. Great game, just not for everyone. Enjoy. You say you have DSL so all you need now is a xbox 360 premium or core with a memory card to get on live.

Also the premium has chrome trim so people can see if from a mile away

I almost forgot the premium comes with a wireless controller while core is a wired controller.
