I hear the release date is November the 3rd ? Why are developers leaving so many good titles so late to bring out when we need them now !!

I'm afraid I'm pretty sure they even changed it to december. And, I don't really mind, because I really don't need to spend more money on games right now.

There is too much titles for late Q3 to Q4 2006. They should have spread it. All the AAA titles are coming during that period. Prey is out today. I grabbed it, and its awesome. Rent it if your not sure, but this will keep me tied over for a while. (multiplayer is fun, but has that brandnew feel where you have to get used to it for a few minutes.)

I'm kinda glad that it might come out in Dec one reason why is that it will be more fine tuned, the other reason Is that I don't want it to come out before I get my new 360.

Its november for sure. They had a giganormouse poster at E3 that said Emergence day November. I think a couple days before PS3 launch. Trust me Peter moore and the xbox team would live at Epic until this game is done and shipped. This is also going to be the game that knocks Halo 2 from the number #1 spot of most played game every week.

Like most people, I wish it would hurry up and come out. But you know what they say, "Good things come to those who wait." Hopefully come November, (or whenever it is released) we will be able to say that it was well worth the wait.

The amount of game releases is always very low during the summer. The holidays is always when the amount of game releases increase (since that's when video game shopping is at it's highest). Personally, let the developers take thier time with the game. They'll be less bugs and glitches and better quality).

well since this is still about the GoW Release Date, Xbox.com has Updated the GoW Release date from 'Q4' 06 to 10/02/2006

October 2nd is also the Date EB games has GoW listed for.
