The Nintendo announcement comes only four days after Square Enix announced a friendly $600 million takeover bid for Taito. If anything it would be a Nintendo take over by MS but this is exactly what the article is saying Nintendo is trying to avoid. Posts: 40  | it has to be something big, we know that everytime they've showed us a site like that, it's to announce a new console, but we've seen the xbox 360, so it has to be a big announcement (or a release date, but it's too weird for a release date). HD-DVD to me is not that annoucement, it's not big enough, a merger with nintendo is unlikely, a partnership with nintendo is possible, but I doubt it, all the nintendo fans are waiting for their revolution, it's a little late for them to turn around (well not that much, they don't have any specs out, or even what the controller will look like) It's hard to find out something big. |

Posts: 1,876  | Hmm, I think it would be cool if M$ allowed Nintendo to use XBL for their online support, and that the Rev. and 360 could be compatible so fans on both ends could enjoy gaming together. But, once again, how would that relate to a rabbit, a tree with 2 apples, and a hole? We need something more definitive to realign our thoughts on this issue. |

Posts: 97 | 2 new insginificant things on the tree... there is a "blair witch" looking twig hanging on a branch on the left side.... kinda shaped like a wishbone. there is also another one like it in the middle where there are no leaves. That wasn't on the original. Any idea what it means? I mean why added if it doesn't mean anything right? (sorry if someone has already mentioned it) I didn't want to look through 23 pages of posts.
