Isn't it amazing what we have come up with just by delving a little deeper. I must say - the content on the Origen site is pretty disappointing. There is no real mention of the Xbox 360 at all.

I have just been searching on the MS website for the word SWOT and I have come up with the following page:

As you can see, on this page SWOT is described as being short for "Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats"

I wonder if MS is going to deploy a group of over 1000 people to go to London to try and assess their competitors?

I hope that the 360 Core System Package does not come out before the Premium System Package.

This will mean that many people will be getting the console before many others who actually want to pay more for a full package. Really, Microsoft should bring out the Premium Package out first so that people can advertise how excellent their wireless pads are and how good the hard drive is, or not as the case may be.

The rabit could be regions squashed together? Maybe the 3 continent release ones? Also what's with the bumps on the rabit? I would also keep my eye on the rabit to see if it moves closer or farther away from the tree.

Have you noticed that the two bolts holding the rabbit to the post are not aligned with the post. The bottom bolt is in the middle (horizontally), but the top one is offset to the right. May be significant, may not. Perhaps the bolts will move with time?

And of course when you cut a tree in half it has rings in the trunk. Each one represents a year, i think from science class, and so it has to do with the ring of light. Instead of altering your PC clock to the date the timer runs out (face it - we cant be bothered). Just right click on the flash file (the page basically) and hit "Play".

This will take you to the image of the expired timer.


Also, I am going to try to organise all of the information we gather, and complie it all into one post. Which could hopefully make it to a sticky, so we can refer to it and just see the cirrent situation.

Or somebody could update the Wiki? I have no idea with Wiki so you guys will have to do that.

ok well hear me out guys. i think this Origen thing is counting down to the actual launch of the XBOX 360. why? well the one free xbox every ten minutes thing starts like in 6 days. why would microsoft give away a free xbox 360 at the end of august and have everyone else wait until november for the actual console? thats retarted...i mean think about it. i think microsoft is gonna pull a fast one on all of us and kick sony right in the face with this launch. and about the Origen website thing...well someone posted earlier (in another forum or this one...not quite sure) about how it relates to the tortoise and the hare. the hare being sony and the tortoise being microsoft. speed doesnt always win. and the origen website shows a tree and a rabbit/hare. well why no tortoise? because microsoft (the tortoise) has already left the starting point and left the hare (sony) back at the starting line. these are my thoughts...give me some feed back and let me know what you guys think.

When you search Ougen on google...you get a few linkz for a Japanese company that develops transformers.

Remember when that kid posted his fathers' beta 360 online? He commented that it had a HUGE power plug. Could it have been one of these transformers?

On a side note:

When you do an image google search for "Origen" , in the first 2 pages...you get pictures of trees.

I dont know about that theory....

The Xbox is associated with the color green,so why would the rabit be green if your theory was true?Also, it seems like a contradiction to call MS the tortoise here, when their launch date is sooner(as planned) than the PS3.The tortoise,in the real story, was expected to come in second place.

Another thing...I could be wrong,but my calculations say the timer take us until September 26th at noon---which makes more sense to me since the 26th is a Monday,and the beginning of the commonly recognized "workweek"

Oh...I had a question:when I goto the Origen login page, I get a certificate warning stating something to the affect that someone may be trying to use the certificate to more or less hack my computer.I dont recall the actual wardage,so I paraphrased...but did anyone else see this?

I do know that MS is making a hard push for their HD-DVD versus the better known technology from Sony, Blu-ray...which verifies that blue,not green,is associated with Sony(not to mention all the blue in the dash of the PS and PS2--but no green)

I'm not exactly sure on the contest thing. They haven't released any details as of yet (as far as I know), so it's up in the air.

And who knows...would be insanely lucky if they DID get it before release though.

Has anyone figured out what language those paragraphs are in? The second tree pic I posted seems like it's the same language...and if we could figure it out...maybe we can have a little more insight on the subject.

It's not french, german, russian, spanish or dutch. Maybe latin?
