For me..First point is Graphics..Second point is gameplay...Now a days when we buy powerful hardware for the pc then you ofcause want a game to look good and that the game has good/great gameplay..If a game has lousy graphics but good gameplay..Then It will not take long before I kinda get sick of the game...It Must have good/great graphics so I can kinda stop in the game and kinda look at the landscape or what ever to admire it...

I think graphics would be number 1 for me, although gameplay is extremely close. Story would be least important for me, have to adore a game that has great graphics a good story and excellent gameplay though :P.

If the graphics in a game are great but the gameplay is terrible, whats the point? I can very easily play a game that has so-so graphics but great gameplay and story.

For me Gameplay is the most important.

Graphics comes next

Story is last but is still very important.

STORY, cant sit in front of a game for an hour if it makes no bloody sense or the story is cack.

take halo for example. it had all three and they were really good. so you can focus on one but inevitably, a GREAT game has to be good 360 degrees all the time. like gears. ive seen the multiplayer footage and it is cool. it has great graphics and gameplay. but a truly great game has a story that makes your hair stand on end. and yes that means literally.

id have to say graphics first because i would not pay 4 hundred bucks today for a system that looks like SNES games but have good game play and story. thats to much money to pay for old graphics (which is why nintendo will never sale the Wii for 399.99, that would be dumb because its basically a gamecube with different controls) after graphics its a tie between story and gameplay. but for the price of these systems today id have to put graphics first.

The story first, cause i don't want to play a game when its a stupid story.
Next is Gameplay, cause you obviously need to have fun
Then Graphics, cause a game needs to look good to get me to want to play it.

I think its a mixture of all 3, if any of them suck in a game it doesnt keep my attention long enough. The best games are when all 3 are accomplished, Halo2, COD2, GRAW.
