Default Laptops

Looking to invest in a laptop for college soon. I've been looking at the Macbooks and so far so good. It will be strictly business so I won't be gaming on it, and Vista can go to hell in a hand basket for all I care.
Does anyone have a Macbook or Macbook Pro? What do you think of it? How has it treated you so far?

My mate has a Macbook Pro, and whilst it's really well built has nice software (Mac OS X Leopard comes out soon) it is waaaaaaaaay overpriced. It is silent, and comes with an aluminium case...I wouldn't spend that amount of money on it. He payed more than double what I did for my gaming PC...it's just ridiculous.

It is definitely pricey. Watching the Leopard video on Apple.com though, has made me want it even more. There are so many useful features for schooling and anything business related. Also, according to Consumer Reports, Apple has the best Tech Support hands down.

I would advise Macbook Pro. My friend has one (I almost bought one...) and he says it's the greatest thing ever. They are indeed pricier, but they have a lot better things going for them than windows. I'd go with that.
