Halo 3 becomes an RTS? what happenend to Halo??

Have any of you heard that Halo 3 becomes an RTS? I'm sure you have, and that the many people have known it for a long time. But an RTS? Honestly people, whats up with that? I prefer the other Halo's instead of having a few battlegrounds and sending your army in to kill grunts.
Who likes the idea of an RTS?

I haven't heard of this,are you sure your not getting Halo 3 confused with Halo Wars

Wow calm down. I have some good news for u.. HALO 3 and halo WARS are very different games. Bungie came out and said there working on a project on the side besides halo 3 that people wouldn’t expect and its halo wars.. halo 3 will and is a third person shooter. so calm down...its all good

LOL, poor Spartan, just woke up to the news. Well, allow me to add on to what my fellow mod cronies started:

At the gaming conferences this fall, Bungie announced that the same developers that brougt you Age of Empires and other good RTS games, have started a Halo based RTS game, which they (not Bungie), will be developing. It was originally called Halogen, but has since been renamed Halo Wars.

Not to scare you, but Peter Jackson, the director that brought you LOTR 1-3 and King Kong -- who is also working on the Halo movie -- will also produce a game based on the Halo Universe.

Halo 3 is still being developed by Bungie, and will still be a FPS style game. So you can breath a sigh of relief. All is well in the Halo kingdom.

oohhhhhhhh!!! I thought the original name was Halo 3 and then they changed it to Halo wars!!! i saw 2 differnt sections of Halo 3 and halo wars. I was like, wtf? I get it all now. i understand. lol
