Posts: 3,184  | Looks decent. For an alpha-version it looks especially good. Most of the textures (if you read the Bungie weekly updates) are said to just be higher res Halo 2 ones, which is why it looks similar to the ol' girl. I was hoping for more dramatic early shots as poor ones never help a games hype, but the damage is done. |

Posts: 1,875 | Considering it is the alpha version, I would suggest that you (all) not focus on the graphics as much as the new content and level design. Any Halo fans will recognize that these pics do demonstrate a more Halo 1 look, not to mention the mini-warthog and different weapons. I didn't post this for graphic whores, I posted it because of the content being shown. Besides, although the Halo series is nice visually, it is not cutting edge graphics that makes it a great game. |
