I'm sure many of you are aware of Fox news lambasting of Mass Effect. I was wondering if anybody knew where to send E-mails complaining of their totally misinformed reporting.

They had some douche bag from G4 arguing the case and some feminazi going off on a tangent about how the game is marketed towards children. I knew they were ****ed once the feminazi said there was full nudity. There isn't and so went her legitimacy. On a side note, they gave the G4 dude 20 seconds to respond in what seemed like a 3 minute segment. As I have said before, it's political season and this type of **** should be expected. It is not only Fox News either, I have heard people complain (how many months after the fact) on MSNBC & CNN.

Just in case you care The Mass Effect debate is far from over Fox disregarded Ea's letter and has since asked if he would like to appear on the show and has also invited an editor from IGN. I sent an email to fox explaining while on their site looking for somewhere to comment about the ME story I came across 4 sex-related stories including 1 about Kim Kardahian and Reggie Bush practically screwing in a photobooth so hypocritical. I know my 1 letter is not going to bring FOX news down but imagine if just half the people that bought and enjoyed it stood up for it. Thats a whole lot of E-mails and if not change there stance at least would have to recognize ours.

of all the crap in the world that sucks, they are giving airtime to this? sounds about right, isn't news, doesn't effect anyone, and no one really cares, except some flaming politicians.

It was ridiculous that had some woman "DR" therapist on and said it was demeaning to women and all these little kids would be exposed to it. Jeff Kieghly(spellin) was on from G4 and asked her if she had played it she stupidly laughs and said yeah right. They hardly gave him time to reply but he did well considering. I think EGM and Game Informer have the whole story. Then the host said she went online to find out about the game(research) and she came to that all to familiar place where you have to put your age in. She said "yeah I thought it would be hard to get to and I just put the yr I was born and there it was" what an idiot Yeah if you put F**ks 4 cash in your search bar it will go right to that as well.

Good news I just read on Joystic that angry gamers found Cooper Lawrence's new book on Amazon. She is the one who bashed Mass Effect and Hundreds of people wrote reviews for th book and said even though they had not read it that hated it and it was awful.

The kind of people that watch FOX for their News are already misinformed; no amount of rebuttal is going to change the way they think, so whatever EA or the G4 guy or anyone else tries to convince them is not really going to work. Just change the channel and continue to form your own intelligent opinions - ignore the FOX hype machine.

i'm confused here.. Fox News think that Mass Effect demeans the image of Non-Gendered fictional Aliens?

It's Great that FOX can take a brave stand where they speak down on demeaning extraterrestrial aliens!

I seem to Remember a little show on FOX Called THE SIMPSONS which is marked towards children, how many times has an episode ended with "OH HOMER or OH MARGE" being moaned out as they fondle and wrestle their way into bed and turn out the lights? Or all the Blood and Gore of Itchy and Scratchy...

But mabye the REAL DIFFERENCE between Mass Effect and The Simpsons is that The simpsons earn $$$$$$ for Fox where Mass Effect doesn't..

You're absolutely right. If you must watch the news at all, just at least take it with a grain of salt and see what every paid off news station has to say. Then get on the nets, do your own research, and think for yourself. They don't call it the boob tube for nothing. Don't be a boob! What's wrong with a lil' anime tit, right?
