Default New to Xbox 360 and Halo...

Hello all, I'm going to be buying an Xbox holiday bundle this x-mas and had a question about Halo. Obviously, the main reason I'm getting the system is Halo 3. I played the first Halo on the Xbox quite a few years ago and absolutely loved it, but I missed Halo 2. Should I first get Halo 2 and beat it before starting on 3 or can I just dive right into 3 and not be lost?

If you want to know everything about the story than Halo2 should be played first but it's not neccesary to enjoy it though.

I wouldnt bother with halo2, the halo3 story is very shallow and linear you'll understand it fine, and if not halo2 wont help only people who like to spend all there time reading *** halo books seem to enjoy the story.

Well, I never played Halo before getting 3 and I love it. Still not fully briefed on some of the story, but it makes little difference when it comes to enjoyment of the game.

No need to buy Halo 2 for the story.

The game is fun regardless if one is well versed in the Halo universe. I have played each mission countless time and I still enjoy every kill, every sticky plasma, and every time that UNSC soldier says "Whoa, you know Kung-Fu?". Good times.

And when you do purchase Halo 3, don't forget to purchase the supercharged Halo 3 Mountain Dew, Halo 3 Zune Player, and Halo 3 value meal at Burger King.

Well actually its "value meals", which I should have specified, my bad. The official Halo 3 Fries and Drink comes standard with any value meal purchase at BK! Eat and drink up!

Does it come with those little strawberry cheesecakes? Quite interesting indeed.

Possibly but not too sure. If anything, it is probably the official Halo 3 Neddler Strawberry Cheesecake.

Also, rumor has it, P. Diddy was mad when BK dropped his value meal for Halo's. So out of anger, he sent the new Making The Band 4 members over the Brooklyn bridge to get him one. Thats ****ed up.

Dylan...Dylan.........Dylannnnnnn.
