My thoughts exactly...Its a video game, why do people in an online game need to know any intimate details about you like who you sleep with unless you want to stir up some controversy and then play martyr. He's getting what he wants anyway. Its like Britney Spears saying that the paps are ruining her life...and then intentionally goes to a hotel flooded with them and then tans outside in front of a few dozen cameras for a couple hours.

I totally agree that people who are "different"...be it race, sex, sexuality, whatever should be allowed to be themselves but there is no need to tell the whole world things like that. He was deliberately doing so to get people to make fun of him then claim he is the victim. If he claims that it's an integral part of him, that is fine...but I find it hard to believe that his only defining feature is his sexuality. Does everyone go around stating their sexuality (Facebook/Myspace aside) before you even know who they are?

The abuse IS unjust, but he isn't helping the situation.

Was he that naive to think his GT wouldn't cause a problem. He did it on purpose, his intentions were to create animosity for reasons well beyond my comprehension. When I played FFXI I had a mule named Enola *** but it wouldn't let me put in the "***". If it wasn't for Live and considering how many racists hillbilly white trash sister bangers that play online there would be nearly a thousand different variations of the N word. Maybe they should add "***" to the list. You make your bed and then ***** and moan that you have to lay in it? What a dumb ass.

Sounded like normal halo trash talking to me. you get people playing that are 12, or drunk, or high, or all three, what do you expect? people are free to be an ass on the interweb because of the autonomy.

I think anyone could make a video of people making fun of people's names or saying something stupid like i want to rape you or kill you. it isn't uncommon.

If this dude was really offended by all those people, he should have reported them all.

Tis true, hard to feel sympathy for a guy that brings that kinds crap on himself on purpose.

this guy is just being an idiot. back in the original xbox days my mom wouldn't let me use her credit card to sign up for xbox live. my brothers 11 year old friend had 2 gamertags. he put 1 on a memory card and transfered it to my harddrive. the gamertag was flamin kiiller. needless to say i got a lot of heat from this by alot of stupid people playing halo 2
