I have played both halo's and they did'nt do much for me as it did everyone else. However i haven't found a better FPS on the 360 and cant wait for halo 3.

I am a halo fan but not impressed on halo 2 it was a little corny like the battle rifle no the orignal battle was supposed to be single shot bu they changed it to 3 round burst but it sucks because I dont have high speed internet

Im a big halo fan!
The only one i hate is number 1
Halo 3 is M rated because it has less blood but, i said "but", more killing!

I loved Halo:CE, Halo2 was average (hated the Arbiter missions), Halo3 is really good but not as great as my mind hoped it would be (mission 8 is just terrible).

What draws fans is the rich backstory.

Is it just me or is the story in Halo rather naff. I'm sorry but its just a basic scfi story at the end of the day.

It appears to be if you look at it on face value. As soon as you uncover the surface you realise it goes ridiculously deep. I still haven't learned everything after 4 novels, 3 games and much research.

but why? why books? why research? ack, the story is so convoluted; to many players not enough pros.

i can sum it up, i think, and i don't even know what is going on:
Covenant what to use halo and blow stuff up.
Halo are really there to blow up the bug guys (hate them).
Spartan armour guy stops covenant from blowing stuff up by killing them and the bug guys.
Spartan guy has the hots for hot cyber chick.

the end.

did i sum up 3 games and numerous books?
