Posts: 13   |  Please,any suggestions helpful Here's my dilemma, About 1 year ago I bought my Xbox 360 pro system. Right Before Christmas it crapped out RROD style. I purchased a 2 year warranty from Circuit City when I purchased my system.They let me keep my hard drive and sent out my system to the product testing center and now am receiving my gift card in the mail to purchase a new 360. (thank you circuit city, they do that automatically.) Now here is where I need opinions and suggestions..... I am getting back about $399.00 from original purchase price and wondering, should I buy the pro system again? , or should I go with the arcade system since I already have the hard drive? also, I considered the elite system but just can't cough up the extra $50.00 plus tax. please and thank you for all suggestions. Posts: 835  | here is a good link comparing all three consoles Xbox.com | Xbox 360 - Which Console for You? IMO the elite is not worth it, only difference is the colour and the bigger hdd (up to you whether u need the extra 100gb, but sounds like you are happy with your current hdd) Oh and it comes bundled with a hdmi cable you can pick these up online cheap anyway. The only other things to consider about arcade vs pro system is you only get normal cables with arcade, no network cable, and no headset. Don't know whether you have these already or need to purchase seperately.

Posts: 13 | ah ok. Just have the Hdd. don"t have a headset and I don't have the Hi-def cables. I def. need both of those so maybe the pro system is the way to go. I mean if I buy the arcade it will save me money in the beginning but after all said and done with the cables and headset I'll be back to basically buying the pro system right? |

Posts: 3,295 | If you bought a Pro originally, you already have the Hi-def cables (circuit city made you send the cables back?). $400 store credit -$280 for Arcade -$40 for cables =$80 towards new games/accessories Plus, you'll have the memory card that comes with the Arcade. The choice is clear. All 360's come with a 3 year warranty. There's no need for you to buy the Circuit City warranty this time around.

Posts: 2,430  | But the elite is black... 399 + 50 = black 360 with black control and voice thing. will black match your home theater set up better? it's about aesthetics really. performance and thriftiness should come second.
