Anyway, thanks for the info, even though I already knew it
Halo does have a more in-depth and well thought out storyline than almost all games, just another reason why I love it.

Posts: 1,032 | nice post, but when you are labeling what each spartan is/was doing, i thought in Fall of Reach book some of those spartans die. Ill most likely be wrong
oh and about showing MC being a kid flashbacks, i think it would be cool to make the 3 Halo movies, then go back before he was a Spartan and extend it to show his life before being "Master Cheif", like Star Wars....? Just a thought ( sorry for run on)

Posts: 128 | Yeah Halo goes back pretty far, I read all three of the books and can't wait for Ghosts of Onyx. Master Chief is described as pale, though it's obvious as he lives in his freaking armor basically. It tells a lot, including how Cortana goes into a Covenant ship and detects Covenant A.I., how A.I. can think themselves to death, lots of great stuff though three was boring as it was all in space, I thought it would cover Halo 2. Another annoying thing is the game are far off from the novels, as Dr. Halsely and the other spartans aren't even mentioned. But anyways, The Fall of Reach and The Flood are great books, First Strike is OK but a little boring. That's my, uncared for opinion.

At the end of First Strike, John along with Linda (who went through intensive regenerative surgery and burn treatment), Will, Fred and Sergeant Johnson are all headed to Earth. So at least they're together and alive. Kelly was sort of "kidnapped" by Dr. Halsey and is in parts unknown. It was left for us to assume they were both still alive because the good doctor has some ulterior plan that is suppose to be for the greater good and save everyone…. Who knows? ^_^
