I read in a magazine somewhere its too hard for the age group it was aimed at due its complicated structure and steep learning curve and is rather boring.

Like the review says, its a hate it love it game. Most people seem to love it, obviously people won't like it, and slap Gears of War in their 360! I love both mind you, Viva Pinata is something unique.
