New 360.....What cheap games are worth the investment??

Got Gow, Tiger Woods, Madden and Baseball 2K6. Also came with GRAW, but it's backordered.

Since I didn't have an Xbox, I'm looking for a few Pre-owned HighDef original Xbox titles to round out the collection. EB has a couple of bins of sub $10 games.......any suggestions on CAN'T MISS, backward compatible titles? (Other than Halo....I KNOW that one is a given from messing with it a few years ago).

Wasnt the first Xbox only normal TVS not HD.

O and on Ebay you can pick up 06 sportsgames and some BRAND NEW shooters for 19.99 buy it now.

NO.....actually many of the games are HD capable. Most 480p.....fewer that are 720p. These are listed on the back table, along with the Multiplayer info, etc.

Let me make myself a little clearer.......

looking for games on the CHEEEEAAAAP......ie. original XBOX games for $15 and under.

GoW (which Target has on sale for $40) will keep me busy for awhile! ......as will the sports games I already have. What I'm looking for is more variety when others come over to play, etc. Right now it's sports, or shoot 'em up.

None of the original Xbox games are 720p. Most 480p.

Games to try:

-Forza Motorsport (simulation racer)
-Chronicles of Riddick (stealth/action game)
-KOTOR (Action RPG)
-Ninja Gaiden (beat 'em up)

Those will all be cheap and should keep you going a while but also there is the "Platinum" or hits collection (can't remember the name) of all the good selling older 360 games.

These include PGR3, Perfect Dark Zero, Call of Duty 2 (AMAZING), Kameo amoungst others. They are all priced around the $30 mark.

ahh the old xbox titles, the games I enjoyed were FORZA and (believe it or not) THE PUNISHER. The latter didnt have very good reviews but I can distinctivly remember enjoying the game. All the Pro Evo games are great too, gameplay has always been awesome in that series. Other than that I cant really help cos *ahem* i was a bit of a PS2 freak around that time.....sorry guys. I WILL NOT BUY A PS3 however lol

Of those listed so far, FORZA and THE PUNISHER are the only ones listed as Compatible.

I had heard nothing but good things about Chronicles and had it in my hands last night.......sadly, NOT compatible. (the odd combo of Bad movie, good game -- usually it's just the opposite)

You seem to have a pretty good start with the games you have. Personally I would bypass the regular xbox games and start a new collection of 360 games. There are several new ones scheduled to be out in Jan-Feb... Good luck~

I DID stop into BK and grab the 3 pack of "titles" for $11. We actually had fun with BUMP IT for 15 minutes or so --- then went back to Baseball. LOL!

First impression was it would be worth a laugh or two as a Party Game that anyone can pickup and play --- and that's one of the things I was looking for. It was $ well spent if I get one Party out of it! LOL!

i had a laugh with king kong on the ps2, but i used to go around beating up the innocents instead of doing the proper game. I've dun the same in the superman returns demo on the 360. instead of saving people I give them a good feeding. lol

I found Kameo pretty enjoyable. A lot of people complained saying it was too kiddish but it's a neatly laid out typical RARE game. If you ever played Banjo Kazooie and liked it, you'll like this as well.
