I am thinking about getting guitar hero 3. Anyone have any say about the game before it get it.?

GH3 is the lamest thing ever (next to Rock Band). Learn to play a real instrument instead.

Hollyhood, how bout you stfu. Quit playing the same old ****ing **** "Oh play a real instrument". It's been said a hundred thousand ****ing times. I have played the 6 string for 8 years so spare me with that ****. Why play COD4 when you could do the "Real Thing" and go ape**** with an AR at the local Taco Bell? Because it's fun to play games; that's why I have a 360.

gh3 is great, its loads of fun solo and even better with a bunch of mates. Highly recommended !!!!!!!!!!!

seconded. Plus some people don't have a natural talent for music. Sometimes its just fun to mess around with some fun songs.

GH3 is way better than GH2 though.
the graphics are a lot better and it's more fun.
if you like heavy metal or rock, buy it.
