Anyone play this game?? I want to get it but I have heard some bad things about it. I would get Forza but it looks to time consuming and plus, this game just looks flatout fun.

Going to buy it tomorrow. The demo was awesome and I couldn't really find anything wrong with that. If the final retail is near as good as the demo, I'd consider it a keeper.

The demo was good, I thought. They give you 3 cars, and 3 tracks... and I found each track/car to be awesome. Dirt offers more in terms of action racing, and graphics more so than Forza 2.

If you are consumed with car parts, and the amount of air in your tires then go for Forza2. If you want an action racing game with Dirt, crazy drifting, mountain racing with daredevil turns... then get Dirt.

I'm seriously thinking about buying Dirt. I am in the process of playing forza 2 right now, and frankly is IT TOO TIME consuming. I have been playing for the last 4 days straight, and I am only like 20% through just the career. It's not a bad game though, and I would suggest anyone to just rent both and then choose. But Forza 2 seems a little too detail involved for my likings.

I really liked the demo and i though it was the best racing game ive played so far on the 360. I personally like it better than forza 2 but some people i know will disagree with me. Just like stone said the graphics are even better than forza. I think im going to buy it because it i had alot of fun with the demo and the full version will just be better. If you like racing games i highly recommend this game.

I LOVE DIRT!!!! I have been playing forza since release but I got DIRT yesterday. This game is just plain fun. It is a total blast. I definately reccomend the game if you dont mind that lack of multiplayer. If it had multiplayer if would be my fav game for a long time. Cant wait to get out of work to get home and rock some more offroad racing.

I played the demo and to be honest I didn't like it. The intro scene was great, felt like I was watching some parts of that PS3 game. But anyway, when I played, I felt the car didn't handle correctly, I had no sense of speed, and then I couldn't use the right thumbstick to look at the side of the car or behind etc. I guess I just played Forza 2 just a bit too much and hence nothing now feels the same. Kind of like GOW, I can play another shooter, well maybe Halo 3 but thats about it.

I'd recommend Forza over Dirt.

To me they're two diffwrwnt things... for a blast racing the the guys at the office or home, DIRT certainly looks awesome... although I've only tried the demo and have not tried any VS mode.

Forza is a long term thing... I'm at 42% of my career... it's more about self improving... taking decisions and such.

You're right about them being two different games, but don't buy DiRT thinking you are going to be able to race you friends and coworkers. Codemaster dropped the ball with multiplayer support.

Oh... so there is no Vs mode?

Well... I'll get it anyway.

These guys at work are really enjoying this.. and it's also a good bonding experience... you know, when one of these guys plays DOA4 and I play, kicking the ass of the boss is a great chance to level up... ha, ha, ha... and I certainly enjoy it... specially when I'm the one doing it and spoil their chance!
