Posts: 3,521 | The graphics will be similar, and not what bothers me.
The PS3 version will defo be using HDD caching and texture loading, load times and physics engine will be alot better.
The 360 may use HDD caching I cant say it wont as I dont know yet, but more then likely it will load from disc, and people may say walking down a street and the buildings and people in front of you poping up like if you were playing a game on a very old PC and had to set draw distance to 0 wont bother them but it will annoy me so Ill get it on PS3. sue me.

Bottom line is its exclusive content for the 360 since MS flashed some of their pocket change around = good thing for ppl getting the 360 version.

I cannot recall how many times I have heard this yet every time I play a cross platform game, there isn't a discernible difference between the two versions. Whether it be Call of Duty 4 or Assassins Creed, the ****ers look identical. If GTA is par for the course it is likely they will be extremely similar aesthetically. However, the graphics (game play & not that CG ****) aren't "next-gen" in my opinion to begin with. Of course, we never bought GTA for the graphics now did we? |

Posts: 662 | I just picked up Saint Row last week and it sweet yet it suffers from the lack of Co-op campaign... hopefully GTA4 will pony up the Co-op campaign and secure a long term spot in the top 3 on live.. regardless I'm going to pre-order online when my tax returns come in!

good lad... | I read what you said, but I believe it is way too early to guess what each version will be like. I think your suggestion that buildings and people will pop up out of no where is probably off base. Play a game like Burnout Paradise where you can scream around a busy city at 200 MPH and everything from buildings, car and light poles are visible as far as the eye can see. Nothing "pops up". The 360 is a little more capable than you make it out to be.
That being said, I'll probably get this game on the 360. With the 360's superior controllers and online, I will likely never buy a cross platform game on the PS3. |

Posts: 984 | I think i'll wait till the reviews come out like nufan said before i decide what platform i buy it on. After all games aren't cheap and it isn't worth the money to have the game on both platforms. |
