Strangle Hold Demo

What do you think about the demo? I was not to impressed with the controls in the game. It was kind of clunky at times and Your guy slids all over the place at any given time. The tageting system was good though. The graphics were kinda weak too. Hopefully the overall game will be better, cause I was really looking forward to this game.

I totally agree felt clunky and the camera movement was awful. Hopefully fix these issues, I would give it a rent before buying to see if the issues get fixed.

I agree with the clunky-ness. Also, interacting with the stunt objects (poles) that were highlighted was hard, you'd have to get right up next to it. I love how almost everything is destructible. Did you guys find the Golden Pistols, and unlock all his Tequila Bombs?

I thought it played very well - camera et al.

Reminded me of the old Max Payne days and it seemed even more fluid on top. And yes, packermatt I got the Golden pistol but it seems redundant (especially with the really small amount of ammo you can find - 16 bullets) since a single shot of the normal pistol to the head will kill. Perhaps others just aren't as leet as me with the BOOM, HEADSHOT kind of moments. Perhaps.

Definetely worth a go, whether or not it's a buyer, depends on length of SP and how well integrated the MP is.

As far as demo's go, it was fairly good. I'm looking forward to the final product where most of its unique flaws and bugs will be corrected (hopefully).

I already found a bug. I killed a guy, and his are was flying in circles on the ground. It was quite funny.

I thought it looked and played decent enough. I don't think it's game of the year calibre, but it should be playable.

just played it, seems pretty cool, controls are a little sluggish karmas right, definitly not game of year caliber but should be really fun.

It looks more like a rental to me. Reminded me of Dead to Rights and Max Payne put together. The graphics were not very good but hopefully it will be fixed by ship date.

well, ive learned not to judge games by thier demos, forza's demo was awful, but the final game was great. i hope this game turns out just as good.

the character models are below par, but the sheer amount of detail in the backgrounds, walls, n floors is wonderful. Jumping on things can be a pain, but the liberal use of bullet time with great physics and accurate body damage (shoot em in the throat,mouth,eye,hand, or nuts for some fun) and the fact taht EVERYTHING gets destroyed made it a very fun game. I hope they fix the minor control issues n such, and maybe up the modeling, and this will be one A+ shooter title.

agreed its a fun game, and i like that every thing can be shot and everything explodes but theres one thing i hat in all games not enough different looking characters im sick of shooting one guy then the same looking people but o well.

The DEMO was 'OK', It's not on my buy list anyways.. - I liked the slow motion feature and the follow bullet cam, they were fun.. but other than that.. it really didn't look and feel like a next-gen title.
