yeah the pc version, 360 games are 720p native

according to your link, they didnt cut anything out. its native at 720p. instead of cropping the screen for 4:3, they shrank it and added the top n bottom part.

In the end, do you really care?? really??? does it play well?? is it a great game?? are you having fun?? then why must you find reasons to cry about it?

I just got done with the game. Took me maybe a good day to do so. I thought the depth of this game was just great. The only time I put my controller down was to use the bathroom. AI was spot on. Best AI since RE4 for the 'cube. The graphics were nice too, esp. the water.

The story could have used just a bit more work. I know they tweaked it from a Nazi scheme mid way through, but it really didn't take away from the overall experience. I messed up and killed a few little sisters, maybe 3, before I started saving them but I am def. going to replay for the other ending.

The selection of weapons was phenomenal. My weapon of choice was the crossbow/shotgun. This game allows for an insane amount of customizations and upgrades which blew me away. I don't think I explored them all, but I will in round 2 tomarrow.

The plasmids was by far the best feature, however they are my only complaint. I think a little too much effort went into upgrades and inventions where a little more time could have been spent on refining plasmid options. It starts out nice - fire, ice, lightning... But then there are some questionable powers: swarm (which really does nothing), twister - is fun at first but that slowly fades as you go back to your tried and true plasmids. I call these next two stikies. Big Daddy - befriend a big daddy to be your bodyguard. Again.. it's good at first but gets to be more trouble than it's worth. And then there is Security Bot - stick 'em to enemies to attract the attention to them. I used this once maybe.. more trouble than it's worth. A houdini plasmid would have been a great replacement, even if they took a few away.

The tonics compliment their respective plasmids rather nicely so it does make up for the lack of truly great plasmid options. And overall the replay value of this game is very high. So do yourself a favor by renting and/or buying this. It's a great addition to your library.

Yeah, one thing to watch out for is not to harvest any Little sisters!! I started killing them all, and then found out that I have missed out on a big achievement haha. To be honest, Im not to bothered about the G's, they are just an extra to enjoying a brilliant game!

All you have to do is put it in one of your tonics slots and it will work the next time u use it.

Im telling you, it cuts stuff out! Im playing on a 4:3 monitor yeah, but the game loads in widescreen, with black bands across the top and bottom. If I can find a way to put it into 4:3 I will be laughing, but for now, its in widescreen and cutting stuff off!

Not to make too much of a fuss because it is fantastic anyway, but it would be nice to see the full shaboom.
Why should i put up with just seeing the tips of his fingers and his gun, when 2K have actually put the time in making a sleeve!

I just got it last night and mine is playing in perfect 4:3 ratio. I am playing on a 36" sd tv though with component cables. (not sure what you are using)

VGA Cable...Its the same with any game, not just bioshock, they all load up in widescreen..

have you gone into your 360 settings and changed it to normal SDTV???? it may be set on an HD or Widescreen setting, which sounds like it is.

rotten primate: A DAY??? good lord, you musta skipped out on a whole lot or played from the time you woke up till the time you fell asleep. I was probably close to the 20hr mark or so when i beat it (good special ending, i rule!)

i actually started the night before, i put maybe 2 hours into it then called it a night. picked it up the next day around 3 and played until 4am. i got the bad ending i guess, the one with the nukes and i take over the world. i don't see what's so bad with that.

the only thing i didn't do was kill sander cohen. i have to replay, not kill any little sisters and kill him.

i did just for being a wierdo.. took pics of most named dead i killed. I didnt even realize id get an achivement. haha! guess ill have to go back and see who i missed

I had 4 Splicers suddenly rush at me down a hallway, I hit one of the guys in the center of the pack with a FlameBolt from my Crossbow, His flaming body rolled forward into a stack of 3 barrels in a puddle of fuel and the whole thing lit up. The resulting explosion tossed 4 flaming bodies all around the hallway.

Another time i was sneaking up on a guy that was crouching partway around a corner and whistling. I assumed he was inspecting a body on the ground and so I quietly got really close to him and took out my pistol to do a little double tap to the back of his head, As I stepped out to line up my shot I noticed that he had in fact been setting up a RPG turret which promptly activated and nailed me twice before I recovered fromt he shock and got back around the corner, just then the dude shoots me 1 time and I die.

I have a question. i was at the Gene Bank and i wanted to use my empty slots for plasmids, but it only let me exchange my curent slots for different plasmids. The when I exit the Gene Bank, it says I can use up empty slot. WTF? Where can I fill the empty slots with plasmids?
