ok Iv never played a PGR game, but does anyone know if PGR4 will have vehicle damage?

The game looks great, but I doubt I will buy it if it doesnt have vehicle damage. ..

I'm sure any damage will be 100% cosmetic.

PGR Games do have damage, just nothing like that of forza!

It has bends in cars, slightly lifted bonnets but essentially its very cosmetic and minor.

If you want damage, buy Forza.
You want gorgeous graphics and beautiful environments, get PGR4.

PGR is definatly just cosmetic, you can lose spoilers but it doesnt effect anything, you can also break the mirrors and the windshield/screen. Again you car wont lose anything but looks.

PGR 4 is gonna be awesome but ill wait to buy it until it gets cheap like all racing games do they tend to lose value quickly

It does have cosmetic damage as noted already. I personally don't really see what all the fuzz is about. After playing the demo, I wasn't all that impressed with the game. The city track is way too narrow to be any fun. I am also not too thrilled about the steering controls, getting a handbrake drift just right isn't all that easy. I am gonna pass this one up and stick to Forza 2!

Narrow? The made the tracks wider didn't they? PGR3 was congested like a Russian lard truck after a night out in little Mexico.

I played PGR4 the game last night and its great.

Its no Forza 2 but in my opinion we are talking 2 different games.

Still heaps of fun, and the graphics are way nicer than Forza 2.
Forza 2 is a true racer
PGR4 is more the arcadey racer with sweet visuals.

Thats my review!

PGR= Arcade. Forza is the closest you can come to simulation on a console really.

It all depends on your likes IORI. I own both Forza 2 and PGR 4 and I like PGR4 better!

I agree they are 2 different racing games.

Both have their merits and downfalls.

In my opinion if you were trying to choose which one to buy, and in a perfect world, ie same price, same release date etc, and you could only have 1, you would have to ask the question as follows. Are you a arcade racing fan, or a simulation racing fan.

That answer will tell you which to buy.

Well, if your a petrol head like me, you'll just get both!

They dropped the controller scheme that I use and have used for years and I tried to get into a different one but couldn't. I don't know why they would do that but they lost me. The cars look good but they are not as glossy as last year and the interiors are not as good if you ask me. I just traded it it and then picked up PGR3 and got Forza 1 for free with it.
