I found the most effective weapon for 'em was grenades.....lots of grenades. Use duck and cover while lobbing grenades....any stragglers left over met up with the BAR. I died several times in the basement...there were like 6 down there...in the same general area! There were two small grenade boxes near by and one large supply crate with explosive ammo. As far as firearms, I found the Bar the most effective. Good luck.

EDIT: BTW, are you still playing on expert? I had to try several times on casual! LOL!

Default Moh-Flaktower

Thanks, I am on normal and making my way down the interior, I have been pretty succcessfull with the tactics you describe and find that they (Elites) just take a huge amount of damage but the G grenades work real well if you pop one in close.

I wonder how the shotgun is?
I did get one MG42 Elite to drop with about ten shots right in the gas mask.

I really didn't care for the shotgun.....unless you are in REALLY close quarters. The damage was really low and reload times were terrible.

I spent most of my time with an upgraded SIG 44 or BAR. The Thompson or MP40 weren't bad after the upgrades, but as things got tougher I needed more firepower.

That said, I think the flak tower was the longest and toughest mission of all.

Default MOH-Airborne - Flaktower

Yep, Just finnished it last night on normal.
Started over on Expert.

The Elites can be straffed around.
They do not turn fast and are vulnerable to a circle strafe attack.

Thanks for the input!

I like it. I think there will always be a rivalry between MOH and COD....and this game is an example why. Personally, I think I liked COD2/3 better, but MOHA brings some pretty cool stuff to the table. The whole parachuting thing is awesome, the gameplay is pretty solid, sp graphics are great while mp is acceptable, the health system is pretty cool and the weapons upgrades are great....cool and practical. Overall from one to ten, I would prob rate it about 8 or so. I felt some of the missions were kind of short, although I played it on casual....maybe it would take longer (different tactics) on a harder setting. There were some places I found really frustrating even on casual. There really was no noticeable historical storyline...unless you're a WWII history buff, it would seem that random missions were thrown at you. I did try mp and it was pretty cool....dropping in behind the baddies or providing help to a buddy in need by simply landing beside them....

What didn't you like about the demo? It was the first half of the first mission in the full game.

In the demo the controls felt clunky and fact I shot a person 3 times in the head and still got up and shoots kind of annoyed me. It seemed it took 3 or 4 shots from the M1 just to put the AI down even if it was a head shot. That's what turned me off in the demo on the game.

Yeah, now that you mention it, I noticed that every once in a while during the campaigns.

the only complaint i have is sometimes you cant go up a ladder, and that will get you hammered in multi player. i see some updates in the future.
