Unable to connect to server

COD has pretty much been a pain in the butt for online play but it is really fun when i get it to work. But lately it looks like as time goes by i cant even try to get into a server anymore. about 90% of the time during peak hours that i know a lot of people are playing, it wont send me into any lobby it just sends me to the "Unable to connect to sever" screen. Its not xbox live because other games will play and if someone i know is in a server i can join them no problem. But no matter what i pick (player match, ranked match, quick game or any custom game) 90% of the time it wont take me to a lobby over the past couple days. Anyone else having this similar problem?

yah i think everyone gets this....here is what i do i built a large cod2 friends list and i just join there games...there is an option to join a friends lobby or even mid game....i always connect fine that way

yeah i guess that is the only way right now, even though i dont like a whole bunch of friends other then my real friends that have the xbox360.

That have happened to me like 5 times, but havn't experienced in a while though.

I know right? I hate when it does that, but when it saus that on Player Match 4 me, I go to Ranked Match and it works!

It happens to everyone, its a drawback of COD on Live. There is suppose to be a patch coming soon ,hopefully, for the connection problems and to redesign the setup of the lobby.

It's happened to me a couple of times. I don't even bother playing COD2 online anymore because it's nothing special. I play Halo2 online instead (even though there are cheaters on there still).
