I agree, I was dissapointed when I unlocked this character. I thought to myself "Whaa?!" to put it simply. I think everyone expected a male character.

Hey guessed you guys missed it but since 12/14/05 bungie let it be know that it was a female Spartan and some said that she might be a Spartan II model. Here is the link to the story behind her being in DOA. I like it. The main reason why I decided to get the game was for the Spartan. She is one big fighter.

So was it easy to unlock her? I haven't picked it up yet and have no idea what is involved in unlocking the spartan.

Just finish the all 17 story modes to get the Spartan. Hitomi unlocks Ein and Eliot unlocks Gen Fu

17 stories?...wow. You can't save your game either in story mode right?

Nope, most are not that bad maybe 12 to 15 minutes but I had 2 or 3 where I could not get by the Alpha and it took me like 20 minutes just to beat it. Still really good game and online is pretty good too.

Yeah i did it too, game was different then the 3rd. Counter moves are now essential rather then just being a good move to master.
