Those of you who haven't played the game, don't be blindsighted by these people's opinions. I feel the game is a great way to spend the hours, and apparently thousands more agree due to the population they still have after two years after the game's release. Just because they didn't enjoy doesn't mean you will.

if i want to spend the "hours" on a game ill play oblivion or kotr

yea if you beat kotr 1 and 2 in a day i will give you $100. and neither is final fantasy out

If I want to waste my time, I would sleep or play Oblivon when it comes out. I was going to get FFXI, but I'm not paying $15 a month and then Xbox Live as well.

Kotor 1 is a 40 hour game. There is 24hours in a day.. I call bull**** on you!!

And on topic, I have played MANY MMORPG's on PC and this is the WORST one I ever played. Avoid this game, and wait for WoW to come on the 360.

you all are missing the point. It's not about the game time on Kotor. It's about you people rubbing a good game the wrong way. I myself have been a fan to Final Fantasy my whole life. Maybe that's why I enjoy it, that's why I'm happy to see it be ported to the 360. For example, I've seen many forums say that Halo 1 & 2 are horrible games. Both have received game of the year and both may be interpretted as the greatest games of all time. So saying that Final Fantasy XI is a horrible game is a opinion, even if a general opinion--is still an opinion.

if its not about the game time on kotr then y did u mention it in the first place. and if its a general opnion then we are giving the general opnion to whom ever seeks it

You know what I have been a Final Fantasy fan since Final Fantasy 1 was released on the NES. I played every Final Fantasy game up to 8, when this game was released on PC for an MMORPG I had to try it. And well I was VERY disappointed. The game lacked in so many ways compared to others in its game genre. I figured since it was out for a few years already I thought the game would have improved since its released. So I was excited when I found out it was coming for the 360. Well it disappointed again. The game was just as dull and boring as it was before.

Even though this is my opinion I have heard this from a number of other people, and it does seem to reflec the popular vote. This game is just not that good. Sure there will always be some that love it, some that like it, but there seems to be alot more that hate it.

Actually, this is my first MMORPG after finally getting road runner. I think it's good, but it may be because I'm a FF nut and it's my first Online RPG. Also I also started off with FFX (and basically moved down to FF1) and thought that was an amazing game. But I hear it was one of the worst final fantasy games ever made.

I picked this game up over the weekend, first RPG; Normally it's Halo 2, matchmaking, it's easy Kill them all. Final Fantasy XI has a lot to do. I can't fairly judge it, because it's my first RPG, and I only have MAYBE 4 hours of playtime. Thus far, everyone on it, has helped in so many ways. There are so many different platforms that this covers, PS2, PC, 360... It's incredible. Well maybe for me it is, for others it's just another excuse, or "opinion".

But this is my Opinion, it seems, thus far, that it is going to be a really interesting game, not just from playing the game, but with all the people you play with. But that is my opinion and you know what they say about opinions... they are like a**holes; everyones got one.

The thing i love about FFxi is you dont have to have Xbox live gold membership to play all you have to do is have silver, then pay to go onto there servers. the other great thing about this game is if you have played it on another systems you can trancfer you account to the 360. I just like the game, and know one is changing my opinion.
