King Kong question

I am stuck on the level MILLEPEDES in Peter Jacksons King Kong on xbox 360.
I do not know how to get the lever to open the gate because I can not find fire to burn the weeds.

If you are talking about the lever that is by the water where all the crabs come out for then I know exactly what you are talking about because I had the same problem. You have to get out of the cave as far as you can go untill you walk past the water falling over the door then look high on the wall and you will see a fire thing hanging on the wall. shoot it down and get the fire on your stick and go to the hole in the wall next to the water falling over the door and throw your stick through to light the little podum thing. Then walk under the water light your stick and procede to the lever and burn the brush.
