The game is cool, it just would of been sooo much better with the auto target sytem. I'm sorry I just hate the way they set up the target system.

In my opinion the developers had a reason to not use auto aim. My first thought was if this game did use auto aim there wouldn’t be much to differentiate from GTA. And secondly this is a online game. So auto aiming would be pointless on Xbox live.. There wouldn’t be a difference in skill level. Every one would be just as good at shooting as every one ells. Where’s the fun in that? So I really do like how they did it.

I have never purchased a GTA stile game before. So this could be my first.

Good point, i didnt think of xbox live play, but its going to take some getting use to. I have more fun slapping hookers around anyway.

Just finished playing it....And i love it, pure class.
Im not to happy about no blood though, but otherwise its great. I think it looks great aswell, nothin like slaping hos with a crowbar to cheer you up!

I actually liked this game and it surprised me as Im not a huge fan of the GTA series. Ive played all the GTA's but always got bored with them. This game adds little extras that was cool. I hit a car head on "accidentally" hehe and the driver of the other car went head first out the windshield, I actually stopped to see if the dude was alright because it looked awful lol. Anyways Ill definatly be getting this one.

I love this game. The physics, the explosions, the gang members beating down on pedestrians with you... basically everything. I can't wait to get this game along with Dead Rising. August is a good month for 360 gamers.

My only flaw with the game is no blood. The blood would make the joy of stabbing an elderly pedestrian repeatedly, that much sweeter. And I say that as a sane individual who just likes to be violent in games and not in real life lol. Enola understands.

True, i do understand. I think blood might be only cut from the demo, and not the full game. I , may be wrong, but because the demo is shipped with OXM, and on marketplace where both are hard for parents to watch over their kids. It would make sense to cut the blood from the demo, and would make purchasing the game over the demo that much sweeter. Also, about the people flying through the window like in flatout, yeah, it is sweet!!! Another aspect i really loved, and probably my favorite, is shooting someone with a shotgun through the winshield while their driving. It looks so real! And the body stays in the car and falls apporopriately (take that GTA!!!) This game is just sweetness...

yeah, im sure there will be blood in the final cut. hell, its got hookers, strippers, and all kinds of violence... why would they leave out the blood???

Anyone who says this isen't a GTA clone is pretty much delusional, good news though. It's a clone in all the right ways, and is not it most of the right ways.

It is a clone in the gameplay section, as most of the stuff so far is very basic GTA like missions, beat this guy up, steal some hoes and maybe you will shoot some people.

The Graphics are of course nigth and day compared to GTA so there is not much suprise, but again with a new generation of consoles we all new this was coming.

One of the best additions was Havok, and it was thought out rather well the bodies act alot what I imagine a body would really do most of the time. it is most noteable in the rather rare occurance fo you being thrown from you;re car in a crash, you are still alive but you go all ragdoll and fly, slam, bend and bounce like you think you might if you were really under those forces. (yes I know you don;t really fly that far in a car accident but for what it is it looks realisitic.....the physics of it that is)

The voice acting... is a bit dodgey, the one leader character has a great voice over job, and the other guy they pair you up with is okay, but most of the others are lack luster to say the least, As for actual dialauge....over the top seems to be a bit of an overstatment. it seems almost like what you think "thugz" might talk like if you were a forty something year old white guy who has lived in cosey neighborhoods and it always seems plastic and forced, unlike GTA:SA where it was done alot more believe-ably.

And that brings us to controls, they are pretty much set up exactly like they were in GTA, with two changes the camer while driving and the shooting, both of which will put out alot of the hardcore GTA'ers but with about an hour of playing they become second nature, not better or worse, just different.

Unfortunatly one thing they took from GTA that they got horribly wrong was there sence of humor, GTA is now almost famous for it sugestivly puned names for restaraunts and stores (like lil' ***** Dog food and Rusty Ring dounts) where as Saints row seems to not have worked it out as well, like a five year old laughing because someone said fart (Tehehehe) with names like Freckle bitches.

AS far as how it plays so far it is great fun, at least for me, and when me and my friend figured out how to get past the walls and found us an AK47 (which is suspiciusly out in the open and respawns every twenty seconds leading us to belivev they knew you could get through and left this as a present) we had our most fun shootout yet. Also they added the ability to use ANY one handed weapon in the car, so pistols, smgs, and most importantly one handed explosives also adds alot to the fun.

So all and all, if you like this kind of game Rent it, you will probably buy it, but give 'er a rent first.

Well I hate to burst your bubble guys but it looks like the blood and gore, or lack there of, will not be in the full game either. A gamespot developer interivew showed this as one of the major programmers or whatever, stated that there would be no blood except for the little blood puff you see when you shoot someone. Sad news for us bloodhounds. Sad news indeed.

Either way the game is great and I can certainly overlook this minor flaw and enjoy the game when it releases.

this game is the biggest GTA knockoff i've ever seen. I'm not saying that the game is crap but it's likely that the real deal is gonna be waayyy better

Let me try to settle this.

This game is SIMILAR to that of GTA, just because developers made a game where it is similar to GTA doesn't mean they fricking copied the game source or WHAT-SO-EVER of GTA alright? Perhaps the game did inspired them, and if so they knew they could make a better game than GTA. This game has effects & features that GTA dream of having. It's annoying to see,

"GTA-Rip off"

This game is certainly better than that PS crap.

No one is saying its not, we all know it, the developers know it. But it doesnt matter its a great game, if you copy a great game and update it its going be good? And GTA4 isnt out for a looong time. So I wouldnt worry about it.

I thought the voice acting was great, the 2 main saints characters are that police chief from 'the job' and the other lad who does sticoms and dramas on TV, dont know either names, but there good.

I really like it and can't wait for the real deal to hit the market in a few weeks. I can only pla through San-Andreas so many times.
