Default refurbished 360's for $35

what is the deal with the banner ad offering refurbished 360's for $35 with free shipping? it says that your order is dependent upon filling out some surveys, but the first step is giving them your cc info. sounds like one of those marketing scams where you have to do a whole lotta stuff that's not worth it. because even for a refurb WITH a 1yr warranty, it sounds too good to be true. if any administrator knows about this ad, please shed some light on this. here's the website in case the ad isn't up when you read this post:

** Scam site link removed **

I saw this last night and it's an obvious Identity theft scam. It asks for all your info including e-mail and CC without even showing you any details of the purchase like any legit seller would do. The $35 offer states that it will (ship to it's "Asia" shipping center) so it's like one of those Hong Kong companies that post DVDs for sale on Ebay using a fake ID wityh info saying that you are buying from the USA but then when/IF the dvd arrives its postmarked out of hiong kong and it's a cheap pirated copy....

We basically need Site Admin to talk with whoever is paying for the advertising space and make them remove it OR if they refuse then he needs to drop that advertiser from the site so that the site is not being party to a crime. Some noob kid is going to come to PX360 and see the ad and put in some credit card Info and get scammed and they they will blame the site......

cancel your cc. watch for suspicious charges on other accounts. Honestly they probably want more than your 35 dollars so just keep an eye out. Everyone can succumb to a scam don't worry about that. but you have to accept it and cut your losses. if all you lost was 50 bucks your pretty good.

Call and cancel your credit card, once that is done there is nothing else to be hurt. To be honest no one is sure it is a scam so as of now we have no confirmation either way; keep us updated!
