| | | See what happened there hollywood? it was overhyped for you and you thought it was lacklustre which is fair enough, to each his own.
(notice how i didnt flame you to bits for not liking it, and didnt get sand in my vagina and cry like a pussy as if godfather was my own film and that you had to like it, take not halo3 fans)
But i do think godfather is best trilogy ever, maybe you just werent in mood to watch it. | |

I don't think I remember the last time I stared at the television screen after the film was over and just said "wow" before I saw this movie.
Just a very well done movie. I recommend it to anyone. | Requiem for a Dream is my favorite movie ever made besides The Godfather. I, like you, finished watching it (a couple years ago) and just sat there and went "Holy ****, what a ****ing movie." Seriously, I didn't say much of anything the rest of the night. Quote:

I can see why people like it but man is it overrated. If you like it that's fine. YouTube - Peter Griffin dislikes "The Godfather" | The Godfather is a cinematic masterpiece. You dissapoint me. |

i'm assuming that this thread is for the movie you last watched whether you have seen it before or not, i've seen the godfather 100 times but it just happened to be the last film that i watched, i've had the dvd boxed set for like 5 or 6 years and i watch it regularly because the godfather parts 1 and 2 are works of art

It's one of the most intense and, really in many ways, haunting movies I've ever seen.
Make sure it's the uncut version though. |

sorry brut | Oh man Alex...that ass to ass scene at the end is a good 8/10 by itself.
The whole movie was just amazing going through 4 individuals different addictions, and how it is slowly crumbling their lives. It was some top notch ****. I don't think I've seen a better movie.

Anyway, I watched Transformers a couple of nights ago....
BLECH!
It was terrible. So monumentily shallow that it left a bad taste in my mouth. Acting was OK, but the script was awful and the CGI was really nice (but what CGI isn't nowadays?) but my main problem was the camera. They kept it really close to the robots (whatever you call them -- not a Transformers geek...as you can probably tell) so the action scenes were just a blur. Yes, it makes the fights seem more fluid and fast...but I COULDN'T SEE ANYTHING!
