Walmart and its PS3's

I just had to post this because not only did I find it funny, but it also confused me a little bit. I have a friend that works at my local walmart in the electronics section. At 9:00am I get a call from him asking me if I want to pick up a ps3. I told him to stop his tom foolery and let me sleep. (it is the first day I've had off in a while) Then he tells me that he isnt BSing. They still have 4 ps3's and have only sold one since midnight. Now keep in mind I live in Rome NY, which is a city in itself, and surrounded by 2 other BIG cities. And since they've been selling since midnight and only one guy who camped out for the day bought one, I found it funny and confusing. I'll post again later if they still have any left. I'm not buying one.

Even though its not a convo starter, but I figured I'd keep it up to the hour here. Its currently 1:45 and they still have 2 more ps3's. I almost feel obligated to go buy one, if I trusted the hardware.

Sounds bad, but that just screws over actual gamers. I've never done that nor ever plan on it. Even if it is easy money.

its not screwing over an actual gamer. thats gamers screwing them selves. and thats you taking advantage of supply and demand. your not sticking a gun to there head. you put it out there and let gamers bid on it themselves. they pay the price they wanna pay.

Honestly it's unfair but we don' live in a fair world. As long as people are stupid enough to pay those high prices, people will continue to do it. It is supply and demand which is the fundamental of econmics.
