If you have an XP based PC:

- Connect your PC and your Xbox 360 upto the same network
- Download Windows Media Connect to your PC
- Choose which files you want to send to your Xbox 360
- Connect to that PC from your Xbox 360 (under either pictures or music there is a "Computer" option. Connect to appropriate PC)
- Hey-presto you have streamed media!

If you have a Windows Media Center PC:

- Connect PC and Xbox 360 to same network
- Goto Media Center Extender on Xbox 360 dashboard, under Media
- Connect and you're done

If you don't have either:

- Rip CD to your Xbox 360 Hard-drive
OR
- Connect iPod or other digital music player via USB to Xbox 360

-Connect USB removeable Hard-drive (or USB flashdrive) containing photos/music

There you go.

I never had to get the zune stuff. But if you use WMP11 it works as well. The Windows Media Connect stuff is built into it... As for the camera question I don't know. What I do know is any mass storage device (external HDs, thumb drives, etc) work fine. Just plug and play in the USB ports... BTW, this is the easiest way I have seen to get around the WM format problem when pulling media from your computer. Take care~

Hey guys, i also recently got a 360. I've found out how to stream music/pictures, but is there any way to actually put media onto the 360 itself?

Also, I currently dont have a router, and my internet goes to my computer so I dont have xbox live. I'm thinking of getting a router however there's one issue. I get cable internet and satelite tv from two different companies. And my computer and tv are on opposite ends (and different levels) of the house.

I'm planning to get a router, connect the 360 to it via ethernet cable, and connect my computer to the router wirelessly. If I get XP MCE, could I connect my satelite box to the computer via my ati hdtv wonder, stream the channels to my xbox, then watch satelite on my tv?

Thanks guys.

I'm pretty sure you could.
So you have cable internet?
Is it T1, T2, T3, other?
Just wondering...

Ive confirmed that you can veiw pics from a digital camera. For this I used a sony cyber-shot and it worked fine. All you do is hook up the usb from the camera to the 360's usb port. As for veiwing movies from a digital camera; I dont know, but I will try it soon.
