Posts: 1,144  | I don't normally download films anyway, unless it is the only way I can get them. For example, if a film is released in the USA that I want to watch but isn't out in the UK it is the only way I can watch it (Juice is an example).

Posts: 1,982  | Juice is a dope movie, got it on DVD. But yeah I use TorrentSpy from time to time. Is the site being forced to log or has that not happened yet? Their site said earlier that they were fighting it and were not going to. Has that changed? |

Posts: 4,828 | yeah the message on the site saying they are fighting it is no longer there, i looked for it today, and i dunno if the logging has started yet but the decision has been made so if its not started it'll start soon i imagine

Posts: 2,344  | I try to download programs from Torrentspy.com, but to no avail  Whenever i try to download Ulead from torrentspy, i can never open the file with the interent. And warezquality needs you to go through lots of BS to sign up.

Posts: 4,828 | rapidshare is a load of crap, i tried it when you recommeneded it to me on MSN and i had to go thru about 10 pages just to find out that they want me to download some bull**** to be able to download stuff that i want at the moment i'm sticking to the site that i pay $10 per month to use and when that doesnt have what i want i use an invite only torrent site but if this issue with torrentspy.com is to set a trend then i'm sure the sites i use and rapidshare will end up having the same problem

Posts: 74  | these legal guys just don't get that if they force torrentspy or any other torrent site to log users the only thing that will do is make the dudes who run these sites close down them down and then just reopen with in a day or two take super nova for example the dudes that run that site get took to court so it shuts down and one day later it reopens but now its called mini nova and has a new internet address. as for the movie companys it would cost them more than they lost by poeple down loading there films and maybe more than it cost to make the films in the first place!! and lets be realistic how much does the movie companys really think they are gonna get out of each user ( a lot less than there legal cost which chances are they are not gonna get back from the average downloader .in my opinion this is just another "we must be see to be doing something", well dudes who download from torrent sites can still sleep in there beds at night because if they prosecute one they have to prosecute them all were ever in the world they are . |
